A Crash course in the Passap E6000 (PDF, 20 pages, 870kb)
Revised and updated March 2021

I acquired an E6000 knitting machine a few years ago, and found the manual very hard to follow. I had only been used to Japanese machines, and the E6000 manual assumes the user came from an earlier Passap model (or had lessons from a dealer, sadly no longer available). This 20 page PDF goes through some basics - it's enough to get you started with your machine. This document is not intended as a replacement for your manual, which details everything you can do with your knitting machine.

There are 5 full colour photographs. The headings are as follows:

* Patterning
* Stitches
* Swatching

* The computer console
* Needle rule
* A simple K/K cast on

* How to skip the cast on
* DM80 patterns
* Sorting out a jam
* Increasing 1 st at a time
* Decreasing 1 st at a time
* Increasing more than 1 st at a time
* Decreasing several stitches at once
